In addition to the elderly or seniors, many people are injured, ill, or disabled at some point and may require help with day-to-day activities. At Solidex Home Healthcare Services, we work to help anyone who may need our services to recuperate in the comfort of their home. Our services are arranged to fit your needs, and because you decide how often and when you need us, most people find us affordable and convenient. Family, friends, or charitable organizations often pool funds to make the services available to persons in need. Long-term care insurance, workers compensation and liability insurance carriers are also involved in funding our clients’ services, when they qualify, regardless of age.

Yes, Solidex Home Healthcare Services, is a licensed home care provider regulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).

All employees are bonded, insured and covered by workers compensation through Solidex Home Healthcare Services and with professional Insurance liability coverage.

We follow a rigorous screening and selection process. Caregivers employed at Solidex Home Healthcare Services, go through background checks, looking into felony and misdemeanor conviction history, address verification over the last 10 years, driving records, credit check, personal reference checks and previous employment verification. Only caregivers who pass our in-depth screening process, orientation and training are employed by Solidex Home Healthcare Services

Our caregivers are reliable professionals who have been thoroughly screened and are bonded and insured. Our caregivers come from all walks of life. Often, they live right in your community and are active members of local organizations and community groups. We seek to employ people who truly enjoy others. And very often they or someone close to them has been through a situation similar to the one you may be facing; many are looking to help others in the same way they were helped.

We will visit your home at no cost to you and work with you to determine the types of services that will best fit your situation. We want to get to know you, your needs, and habits, which our care manager will consider while developing a care plan that fits your exact needs.

Many organizations simply assign you the next caregiver, often without a prior introduction. You play an important role in caregiver selection. Hence, we only consider which caregiver(s) most appropriate for you after we complete an in-home consultation/assessment. Once we understand your needs and your environment, we decide which caregivers will best fit your situation.

Our management team will then introduce you to your caregiver on their first visit. The care manager will also continue to monitor the quality of our service to you and maintain detailed care notes on you to ensure proper tracking and oversight. Our goal is to foster a caring, stable relationship between you and our staff that assist you.

Although we hire only caregivers with the highest ethical and moral standards, all of our caregivers are fully bonded to ensure a client’s and family’s material possessions are safe. Comfort and peace of mind about the quality of care and contentment of the client are also paramount. If a client or family is not satisfied with our choice of caregiver, we will replace that person, unequivocally, in the event that coaching is unsuccessful in solving the problem.

Yes, but only if he/she has the requisite training and experience we deemed satisfying our basic requirement and qualification. The candidate will be required to formally apply as our employee plus obey and comply with all our rules and regulations, including background checks. We do also offer necessary training to upgrade the skills of the candidate while caring for you under our employment.

Yes. We maintain on-call access to staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If a caregiver fails to show due to illness or an emergency, our on-call staff will assist you in providing care coverage.

Solidex Home Healthcare Services can effectively arrange to start care services immediately depending on the complexity of your needs. Typically, most services start within 24-72hrs of services request and assessment. For us, real care begins at the point of intake.

Typically, we provide caregivers by the hour with a 4-hour minimum per visit. However, we do evaluate each situation based on your needs. We recommend a minimum of 20 hours per week to ensure continuity of quality care.
In order to change an upcoming shift without being charged, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. We understand emergencies can happen that make prior notice difficult or impossible, in which case we will work with you to determine a fair plan of action on behalf of our caregiver(s) and you.

Feel free to call us at any time if you have any urgent question or are not available to speak with us during regular office hours.

We have staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our billing and other administrative offices are open during regular office hours 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. To obtain the fastest and most thorough response on all other questions, we recommend you call during the office hours, when we can access records and other information that helps us better respond to your questions. You can also contact us via the quick enquiry tab on our website.
